“ Ate there for the first time tonight!!!! Oh my goodness! I am mad I waited so long.....Food was soooo good and the portion size was fanonmanal!!! I had the Cantonese shrimp chow mein and my friend had the veggie fried rice and chicken chop suey combo......Both were wicked good!!! Momma puttering around the back made it feel family style!!! I highly recommend! I will be a regular there for sure!!! ”

Sometimes in life, you got to wait, and for me, the wait was worth it cause the quality of food that I received was simply full of flavor. I loved all the dishes I got. I ate at various Chinese places across the city, but this place definitely knows what they are doing... kudos to the chefs. I recommend the beef chop suey, Cantonese chow mein etc just melts in your mouth. Will be coming back 100% this time I'll come later than I'm told :) ”
“ I've been living in the area for a few years and kinda gave up on good Chinese food in the area.....then I randomly walked by and do not regret it!! I usually get an individual combo which is 10 flat and it is filled with food! Really love the vegetables fried rice with the sweet&sour chicken balls If you are doing pick up, I HIGHLY recommend calling ahead as there's usually a wait time of anywhere from 30min to an hour but WELL WORTH IT I was told the parents originally owned since the the 70s and now the brothers run it.....a lakeshore staple!!! ”
“ Almost 5 years waiting we finally got our Golden Stove fix. Some food is better; some is the same and a couple were just average. You cannot beat the value and service. Must have are Empress Chicken, General Tao, Chop Suey and the Egg Rolls. It is CASH only so be prepared! Note that service can be slow at times BUT everything is made from scratch at the time you order. They get lots of takeout orders so it may be empty but trust they are busy. Remember it is a small, family restaurant. If your in a hurry go elsewhere. ”
“ The gem of Mimico is back! This is the best Chinese food you can get in Etobicoke and maybe even the province! This is a family run restaurant and every dish they make is amazing. Please be patient when ordering as it is just the family working and they do a large volume of orders, wait times are typically an hour which is worth it for this food. ”
